Recours Tecnologia da Informação was founded in June, 1995 as a IT solution provider. The company was born with the straight proposition of provide services based on Oracle software, once its partners already had experiences in this technology. One of the basics and fundamentals propositions to the good positioning in the market, was the creation of a strong link with its clients, based in the concepts: "Trust, Commitment and Quality".

Our first client was Petrobras (gas and oil), where initially was implanted the Oracle environment. After that we initiated others activities and for more 2 years the company was our reference client.

In the beginning of 1996, Recours Tecnologia da Informação became an Oracle Partner. For its technical capacity/quality and also for its recognized commercial skills, it was the 6th company to reach the status of System Integrator, today called Certified Advantage Partner, one of the highest levels in Oracle's partnership. The company is one of the strongest Oracle partners in Brazil and one of the most qualified companies in licensing Oracle’s products and providing services.

In 1998, Recours Tecnologia da Informação became a Palm Computing's partner for Mobile Solutions based on Palm/OS and develops this activity with great ability. The great motivator to develop this business' unit was the great technological and creative appeals required by this kind of solutions.

Finally, it was created in 1998 a business’ unit based on Linux plataform. The company invested in professional qualification and now counts with experienced technicians in this platform. Recours Tecnologia da Informação decided to invest in Linux (SuSe and RedHat) motivated by the increasing necessity of the market in having a robust OS for the Intel platform with great reliability and low cost. Another important factor was the efforts and investments made by Oracle and others great manufactures to provide solutions for this environment.

Recours Tecnologia da Informação is located in Curitiba but acts in whole Brasil. To improve the actuation in the north of Parana (a state of Brazil) Recours Tecnologia da Informação counts with an account manager in Londrina city who attends the great number of companies in that region.

Today, Recours Tecnologia da Informação have more than 250 clients, either in software licensing as in providing services based on Oracle, Palm and Linux technologies.
